Cannes Lions: Serviceplan Munich wins the Grand Prix at the Design Lions

Serviceplan Munich has won the Grand Prix at the Design Lions 2012 Awards with its work for Austria Solar as the UK took three Gold Lions.

The main prize was awarded to Serviceplan, while BBH London won a Gold Lion for work for ASOS.com, while 4creative London also struck gold for its Channel 4/More4 identity, Abbot Mead Vickers BBDO won Gold for its work on Diageo brand Guinness.

BBH London was also awarded with sa Silver Lion for work on The Guardian, and Abbott Mead Vickers BBDO won another award, silver for more design work for Guiness. AKQA London, which has agreed a takeover deal with WPP today, was also a recipient of a Silver Lion for work with Nike+’s Fuelband.

Winning Bronze was The Partners for Soho’s Secret Tearoom, Turner Duckworth London for work with D&AD and Imagination London for ‘An Expression of Innovation’ for Royal Dutch Shell. Turner Duckworth also won Bronze for work on Carlsberg’s Tuborg bottle, and finally a bronze was also handed to Sedley Place London for its Johnnie Walker Blue Label designs.
