Scottish Autism has appointed Gemma Letton as its first ever brand manager.

Letton joins the charity from Cheltenham communications agency Camargue, where she spent four years as an account manager working on media relations campaigns and communications strategies.

Scottish Autism CEO Alan Somerville said: "It is becoming increasingly important for us to coordinate our communications and raise the profile of our organisation in order that we can reach and support more families living with autism.

"Creating this new role and bringing in someone with Gemma’s experience and personal qualities is an important step in making this happen.”
