Goodfella’s unveils pizza and wedges range to tap summer sports market

Goodfella’s has unveiled a pizza and potato wedges range, with plans to tap into the market of friends and family who might be getting together to watch sport such as the Euros of Olympics this summer.

The new product will comprise of an 11-inch Goodfella’s Takeaway pizza and pack of potato wedges all in one box, and has been described by the company as ‘the first branded sharing pack offering to hit shelves in the UK.’

Andrew Elder, head of marketing for Goodfella’s, said: “We’re really excited about launching a product that’s not only a first for the brand, but a first for the category too. We wanted to offer customers an easy and tasty sharing pack for a variety of different occasions with friends or family.

“The Takeaway Pizza and Wedges range opens up many more opportunities for the brand and continues our drive to introduce innovative new products into the frozen pizza category.”
