Scottish Event Awards 2011 winner Bauer Radio Scotland has jumped the fence to become a sponsor of this year’s event, which takes place in Glasgow in September.
Last year the team from Bauer Radio Scotland took to the stage to collect two Scottish Event Awards, one for Best In-House Event for Clyde 1’s Live on Location, the other in the Best Marketing Strategy category, again for Clyde 1’s Live on Location event.
The Scottish Events Awards is now in its fourth year and the deadline for entry has also been extended for those companies and organisations still keen to enter the event, which spans categories such as Best Conference, Best Corporate Event, Best Product Launch, Best In-House Event, Best International Event and many more.
Bauer Radio Scotland delivers an overall weekly audience of 1.6 million listeners, reaching 40% of the available adult listening audience. Within the Central Belt of Scotland, Radio Clyde and Radio Forth deliver almost one million listeners and Bauer Scotland strives to create customised advertising packages that aim to engage loyal, local communities.
Speaking of supporting the Scottish Event Awards, Martine O’Donnell of Bauer Radio Scotland said: “We are delighted to sponsor this year’s Scottish Event Awards and support the talent throughout the country. We are excited to see this year’s nominations and indeed the winners.”
Bauer Radio Scotland joins other sponsors - Event Scotland, Cameron Presentations, Freshwater PR, Eastern Exhibition & Display, 21CC Fireworks, Your Event Scotland, The Events Event, Stand Out Magazine, The Thrill of It All, Blue Parrott Events, Team Challenge Company and All Event Hire – supporting this year’s awards, which culminate with a gala dinner at Glasgow Radisson Blu Hotel on Thursday 6th September.
