The Jura Whisky Festival goes ‘Live’ through Facebook and Twitter
For the first time, The Jura Whisky Festival is to be broadcast live from the Isle of Jura.
Currently underway, the festival will allow fans of the whisky who are unable to get to the Isle of Jura, to experience the island’s two day marquee event through behind-the-scenes clips. These clips are being hosted on the dedicated live events page, which is to be frequently updated with blog posts and news. A Wireless hotspot set up in Craighouse – at the heart of the islands festival- will also allow fans to tweet and post comments and photos.
Following the success of their Twitter and Facebook , Jura jointed Instgram, and encouraged visitors to take photos and post on Instagram using the hashtag #jurawhiskyfest, where the best five images were rewarded with a bottle of Jura Superstition.
