English Relics, a company which turns historical artefacts into jewellery, has appointed The Cult PR to raise its profile in the UK.

The Surrey-based company creates earrings, cufflinks, belts and necklaces incoporating Roman, Viking, Medieval or Tudor artefacts.

The Cult has been given a retainer contract to highlight the unique nature of the products.

Agency partner Charli Morgan said: ""This is the first time that anybody has created beautiful pieces of jewellery and art from precious slivers of British history, which are hundreds if not thousands of years old.

"And it is an honour to tell this truly unique story of recycling and the beautiful end-results of relics, which have been through blood, guts, war and endured centuries to be reborn as beautiful jewellery."
