Pie company Walker & Son enlists Big for PR
Traditional pie company Walker & Son has appointed Big PR to handle its public relations needs.
Leicester-based Big will be providing a national press office service, helping to support new product launches and range extensions as well as developing more proactive trade and social media PR programmes.
It will also work on a series of national campaigns "building on the brand's heritage", which stretches back to 1824.
Claire Handley, category manager at Walker & Son, said: "The team at Big presented us with some very innovative and exciting ideas that will really help support the company’s ambitious growth plans."
Walker & Son supplies to major supermarkets including Tesco, Waitrose, Asda, Morrisons and Sainsburys.
