The official website for Peter Rabbit has been re-launched by tictoc to celebrate the 110 year anniversary of The Tale of Peter Rabbit.

The agency was appointed by Frederick Warne & Co, part of the Penguin group, to attract fans from around the world with features such as an interactive timeline of Beatrix Potter’s life, information on her art and books, games for children to enjoy and resources for parents, grandparents and teachers to download.

Melanie Russell, director at tictoc, said: “We were so pleased to be appointed by Penguin to work with them on this site. Peter Rabbit is one of the oldest and best-loved children’s characters in the world and it has been such a lovely creative site to work on. We’re looking forward to many more adventures with our new furry friend!”

The site also includes up-to-date information about all Beatrix Potter related events and exhibitions taking place across the world, with automatic IP recognition to deliver regional content on key pages.

Kate Hayler, publishing director at Frederick Warne & Co, said: “It is so exciting to have worked with tictoc to develop such a beautiful looking and easy-to-use site. What better way to wish Peter Rabbit ‘Happy Birthday’ than to give him and all his friends a brand new home so that fans across the world can find out more about them and their fascinating creator, Beatrix Potter.”
