A radio ad for The Big Jubilee Lunch has been created by INITIALS Marketing, and is set to run on Heart FM for four weeks.

The ‘What Will You Bring To The Table?’ radio campaign encourages listeners to visit the website and register for a Free Big Jubilee Lunch pack containing hints and tips on how to organise a Big Jubilee Lunch.

Jamie Matthews, CEO at INITIALS Marketing, added: “Last year, two million people took part in a Big Lunch – this year, the aim is to at least double this number. Community is at the heart of the project, and our ‘What Will You Bring To The Table?’ campaign theme works as a call to action to engage the masses and bring them together.”

In the final week of the campaign, listeners will be encouraged to go online and enter their ideas of how they intend to celebrate their Big Jubilee Lunch to be in with a chance to win a prize, with one getting chosen a day to describe their idea on air. There will be a different prize every day from a fund provided by The Big Jubilee Lunch partners, with the Eden Project also providing a trip for two to Cornwall in conjunction with Eden Breaks.

Peter Stewart, director of campaigns and communications at the Eden Project, said: “Royal events traditionally bring communities together in a nationwide celebration. An event like the Diamond Jubilee provides a prime opportunity for families, friends and neighbours to get together and celebrate each other, their communities and their country. INITIALS has created an engaging radio ad campaign which will cut-through with a wide reach of listeners.”
