Nokia team up with The Weather Channel to create Lumia-exclusive content
A new app from The Weather Channel has been developed in conjunction with Nokia, providing features exclusively available to Nokia Lumia customers.
The exclusive features include full-screen interactive maps, Facebook and email sharing and local videos. The app itself will provide hourly, 36-hour and up to ten day forecasts. The Lumia experience will develop and grow in the second quarter of 2012, delivering tailored lifestyle alerts to help users do the activities they love, based on the weather forecast. Other incoming features will enable users to capture and share weather-related moments with the devoted iWitness service, and will allow them to see forecasts with exclusive features.
