Halewood International extends UK brand portfolio with Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur
Halewood International has announced that it is extending its brand portfolio by taking on the UK distribution of Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur.
The brand, owned by McCormick Distilling Co in Missouri, will now have its distribution and marketing for UK and Northern Ireland handled by Halewood.
Michael Harris, vice chairman of McCormick Distilling, said: “During the past decade Tequila Rose Strawberry Cream Liqueur has established a presence in the UK on trade and we are now looking to drive significant growth through additional distribution channels for the brand in the UK marketplace.
“We believe Halewood International has the scale, reach and capability to help us fulfil our commercial ambitions as we enter the next phase of growth for Tequila Rose and we are looking forward to working with them.”
Graham Oak, Halewood International’s global brands director, added: “As a business we are looking to build on our successful distribution model which already has Lamb’s and Tsingtao in the portfolio. We are delighted to have been chosen to represent Tequila Rose in the UK market and we hope that this leading brand will be the first of many successful brand distribution agreements in the months ahead.”
