Warburtons has launched a new Facebook app which allows users to send a virtual piece of toast inscribed with a personalised message.
The 'Toastcard' app, created by BETC London, is part of Warburtons' new £8.2m marketing campaign.
Each slice of 'toast' can be customised with an illustration or message using a virtual butter knife and a selection of spreads.
Matthew Charlton, CEO of BETC London, said: "We hope that this idea will allow many to share digitally in an idea that encapsulates the passion, fun and warmth that the Warburtons people, the Warburtons product and the Warburtons brand all have inherently.”
