British cooking brand New World has unveiled a new brand image and ‘Designed for Life’ strapline, created by Leeds agency Home.

The new look and strapline have been extended across its brochure and website.

Last year New World launched a nationwide hunt for a member of the public to work with the brand as a social media ambassador, blogger and trend spotter, with London-based Fiona Maclean receiving the job following a Facebook vote in autumn.

Jon Brennan, commercial manager at New World, said: “This is an exciting time for New World, with the new branding and strapline reflecting our position in the market, appealing to a younger style-conscious audience looking for on-trend, practical appliances at an affordable price point.

“Fiona’s appointment coincides with the rebrand perfectly. Working as our roving reporter and social media ambassador, she will also play a vital role in creating compelling online content for our target market as well as feeding in to new product development.”
