Top government PR post for political editor of Yorkshire Post

Jonathan Reed, the political editor of the Yorkshire Post, has been appointed as chief press officer at the Department for Work and Pensions.

PR Week reports that Reed will look to communicate around employment issues and the Government’s efforts to reduce unemployment - led by employment minister Chris Grayling.

Reed, who will report to the DWP’s head of news Stewart Todd, starts later this month.
