Heineken has appointed We Are Social as its social media agency for Bulmers cider and Jacques cider in the UK.
The agency is currently planning activity for next year, beginning in January, which will include the development of a full creative and strategic plan, drawing upon social media research and insight, while working with other agencies involved with both brands.
Seb Robert, account director at We Are Social, commented: “Bulmers and Jacques are fantastic brands with strong stories to tell. Social media is a great channel for them to communicate these in an interesting and relevant way. And of course, with all drinks brands, there’s a crucial need to understand how you are being discussed and to ensure that all messaging is responsible. It’s a really interesting brief and we have got an exciting year ahead.”
