Aberdeen-based Mackenzie PR is linking up with another Aberdeen company to create a fully-integrated corporate communications company.

The move follows Jasmine Holdings acquisition of a majority stake in creative marketing firm Covey McCormick earlier this year.

The new agency will be led by Mackenzie PR founder Morven Mackenzie (pictured).

Covey McCormick chairman, Kevin McCormick, and managing director Raymond Morrison will also form part of the management team.

The new agency, which will have a staff of 24, will operate out of Riverside Drive in Aberdeen.

It will offer communications-related services including PR, creative marketing, digital and social media consultancy, training and corporate DVD production.

Former STV presenter Kirstin Gove is joining the new set-up to head up the training division.
