Digital agency Jung Von Matt/Limmat has created one of the most successful social tourism campaigns ever for the small Swiss village, Obermutton.

With just 78 residents few people had heard of Obermutton, let alone thought of visiting. But Jung Von Matt/Limmat set up an Obermutton Facebook page and promised to post the picture of everyone who ‘liked’ the page on the village notice board.

The Obermutton Facebook page is now the most popular in Switzerland. Over 10,000 people have liked the page - fans coming from 32 countries.

Needless to say the villagers have their work cut out putting up photos...
