The Retired Greyhound Trust has appointed digital agency twentysix as it looks to increase its presence on the web.

As the affiliated charity for the agency, Leeds-based twentysix will run a targeted social media campaign and a content seeding and audience engagement programme. The aim will be to find loving homes for retired greyhounds.

Twentysix has already created a new Facebook page and Twitter feed for the trust. The latter tells the story of office pooch 'Homer' who muses on how it feels to be a retired greyhound lucky enough to have found a happy home.

Agency CEO Gail Dudleston said: "I sincerely hope our engaging social media approach will result in more retired greyhounds finding super 'forever' homes, just like my two, April and fly.”
