BBC News editors to take over from auto-tweets
Today, BBC News (@BBCNews) implemented a new system for its tweets, with editors posting links to articles instead of auto tweets during daytime hours.
The media organisation said, however, that auto tweets will be continued on @BBCNewsUKfeed.
An example of the new style of tweet is: ‘#Germany's Bundestag approves Chancellor Merkel's plan to strengthen #eurozone rescue fund. More soon bbc.in/bsYxBA #EU’, compared to ‘Mongol wreck found off Japan’ with a link.
The Twitter stream now also includes retweets as well.
