A digital communications programme for London hotel The Savoy is to be developed by Black Sun.

The appointment will see Black Sun work on a series of personalised communications which will aim to build long-term relationships and secure brand advocacy with potential and previous guests, while also building the brand and offering news and inside information on the hotel.

The programme will include a dedicated food and drink email and a quarterly newsletter.

Black Sun previously worked with The Savoy on a digital campaign to highlight its reopening in October 2010.

Richard Dixon, director at Black Sun, commented: “The Savoy is in a strong position to build long term relationships with its customers. Its iconic status, along with its heritage and quality service provides an ideal platform to build more valuable customer relationships. The objective is to create a series of communications that will give a ‘behind the scenes’ look at the hotel and thereby deepen the customers’ emotional engagement with the brand.”
