Reshuffle at Google as UK MD Matt Brittin takes European role

Matt Brittin, UK managing director for Google has been promoted to vice-president for Northern and central Europe, and will be replaced by European marketing director Dan Cobley.

Brittin moves into the role after four years as UK MD, following Phillip Schindler’s move to Google’s offices in California where he will report for Nikesh Arora, SVP and chief business officer.

A replacement for Cobley has yet to be announced.
