Twitter users tired of the cumbersome keyboard thrashing needed to issue tweets now have a solution at hand courtesy of mashable – voice activated tweeting.

The tech blog notes that an undocumented feature of the iPhone 4S’s Siri voice assistant is its ability to transcribe 140 character tweets direct from your larynx.

If that weren’t enough Siri can also be utilised to read tweets straight back to you.

Apple have grand plans for Siri in the future but are underplaying the technology for the present as they feel it is not sufficiently robust to be marketed as a key feature.
