The programme for this year’s Leeds Digital Festival has been announced, with over 50 events, including the DADI Awards.

The launch of the festival will be celebrated at an event on 1 November, showcasing five of the events, which include a session from TEDx, the first Leeds Digital Awards, a Yorkshire panellist event and an evening with technology journalist Ben Hammersly.

This year’s DADI awards will also take place during the festival, on 11 November at Saviles Hall.

John Prior, director of projects and service delivery at twentysix who oversaw the development of the Festival’s website, said: “The line-up of events and the diverse range of subjects will make this a great month to be in Leeds for anyone who is interested in digital.”

“It’s been a truly collaborative event a long time in the making, with everyone involved volunteering their time and company resources for free.

“The fact that it has reached the scale it has, with more than 50 events across an entire month, is a great endorsement of the depth and breadth of the city’s digital sector and something Leeds should be rightly proud of.”

The full schedule for the festival can be found on the newly redeveloped website.
