Customer engagement software company i-design has said that it expects to announce a ‘small maiden profit’ before tax at the end of its financial year.

The Board of the company has said that following the end of its financial year on 30 September, the company made a profit, ahead of market expectation of a pre-tax loss, with sales expected to be worth around £3.5m.

The result is due to two new clients being added to its ATM network, with Barclays signing the agency in May, and YourCash in October 2010.

The full year results will be revealed in December.
