The station will provide branding around the event and a sound track for the show, and will have a reporter producing vox pops and bulletins for news.
Smooth Radio will have a branded car in the ‘What If’ parade three times a day, with eco-friendly presenter Mark Goodier driving one of the Eco cars throughout the show and taking part in various panels.
Smooth Radio logos will appear on TFL posters promoting the show and on full page ads in Metro.
It is the first time that the two brands will work together to create a marketing partnership supporting all areas of the show.
Jonathan Gillespie, GMG Radio’s Group commercial director, said: “This is the perfect partnership between print and radio. We have the ability to amplify the show and push footfall to the show as well as cross promoting the 2 brands to reach a potentially new audience and readership.”
