Clothing brand Henleys has appointed Label PR to handle a relaunch campaign and generate "some real noise" about the brand during the new fashion season.

Manchester-based Henleys has already been working alongside creative agency Various Artists to shake up its men's and women's collections and launch an autumn campaign with "attitude and swagger".

Label's brief is to bring Henleys "back to the forefront of the industry, challenging the perception of the brand". It will handle Henleys' press office and champion a relaunched henleys.co.uk website.

The agency will work across online and offline PR and is planning what it described as a "huge targeted celebrity placement campaign".

"We could be accused of taking our finger off the pulse over the last season or two, but having conducted a full assessment of the brand and market place we feel very strongly that we've got our edge back," said Ben Luscombe, founder of Henleys.

"Our retail customers are currently previewing the AW11 range and the response to the bolder, statement branding and graphics has been amazing- we’re ready to create a real buzz around the brand come the new season.”
