King.com appoints new vice president of advertising sales

Social games company King.com has appointed Gilles Storme as vice president of advertising sales for Europe, Middle East and Africa.

Storme, who previously headed RockYou’s advertising sales team for the same regions, and has also held the role of pan-European sales director at AOL, will help drive King.com’s revenue growth via ad sales for its successful cross-platform games.

Mark Charkin, executive vice president of global business development and advertising sales at King.com, said: “King.com is building on its leadership in the casual social games space to capitalize on the various touch-points where consumers are most engaged via its cross-platform initiatives.

“We are excited to have Gilles on our executive team and look forward to continuing our explosive growth for fans and advertisers on Facebook, mobile and other platforms.”
