Manchester blokes get A. Mann's illustrated guide to STIs
The NHS in Manchester is hoping to encourage more men to wear a condom by publishing an illustrated guide to sexually transmitted infections.
Designed by local agency Sunny Thinking, A. Mann's Guide to STIs features the character Andy Mann telling readers his story so they can avoid catching 'the clap' or 'getting a dose'.
"By injecting humour and adding a no-nonsense approach we’ve produced something that rams home a very clear message...protect yourself from STIs and wear a condom," said Sunny Thinking's Jonathan Reed.
"It successfully achieves its aims by its approachable, cheeky and unique tone and by not talking in a patronising way."
