The Johnnie Walker Championship at Gleneagles is being promoted at Edinburgh and Glasgow airports for the second year.

Travellers to the airport will see adverts for the European tour event on digital panels in departure areas, seating areas and main walkways. Described as an innovative ‘out of home’ format, the screens will ensure engagement, impact and coverage throughout the airport.

The execution was created by London-based Ellipsis and features the familiar Johnnie Walker ‘striding man’.  The media buyer was JC Decaux.

Graeme Marchbank, tournament director of the Johnnie Walker Championship, said: “The profile of our event is growing around the world and we know that many visitors to Scotland often make last minute decisions about what to do when they arrive here.

“We believe that by adding in this additional layer to our promotional programme we’re building the profile of the event and attracting a wider audience.”
