An advertising campaign by The Law Society is set to highlight its advice service offer to members.

The ‘Choose Quality Advice’ private client campaign will use marketing and PR from September to promote the legal advice that it offers.

This is the fourth campaign promoting the services of solicitors to private clients and will see 19 regional papers run advertising and editorial features between September and October.

Other activity will include advertising across 220 railway stations in England and Wales, inside and rear bus advertising across 5,000 vehicles and PR coverage in regional and local media.

Law Society Chief Executive Desmond Hudson said: “Past campaigns have been successful, but perhaps more than ever this one carries more importance as the legal services sector faces great change. Now is the time for private client firms of all sizes to take full advantage of what the Society is offering.

“There is a clear choice here as more competition enters the market, either do nothing and hope for the best or make sure you stand out as the qualified legal experts that the public can turn to for genuine quality advice and services. Our profession has a great deal to be proud of, which is why the Law Society wants to help its members shout about it.”

PR support will also be offered to firms who take part.
