SSE appoints Synergy to promote community partnership with the Rugby Football Union
Scottish and Southern Energy (SSE) has appointed Synergy to create and implement a full strategic sponsorship campaign to promote its national community partnership with the Rugby Football Union.
The campaign will include PR, digital consultancy, event management and rights exploitation, in order to drive awareness of SSE as a supporter of grassroots rugby in England.
Lisa Parfitt, director of experiential at Synergy, said: "This is a really exciting win for Synergy and we are looking forward to running a strong campaign for SSE that helps build their brand in England."
SSE launched its sponsorship this week with a nationwide online survey of the English rugby community, asking what things clubs actually wanted, such as pads, kit or equipment. The information will be used to build a series of campaigns and promotions throughout the year.
