Leeds agency JDA has been rebranded as Involve and will be led by David Pemberton as managing director.

The Involve Marketing Partnership (formerly Direct Marketing Group)-owned agency, will work with clients such as Lloyds Banking Group and Dignity, and will be led by David Pemberton, former UK controller of marketing for Experian who has also held roles with The Black Hole, Iris Associates and Lick.

The Direct Marketing Group rebranded in April, and included Whitewater, Millenium, dms, united, and dmp, but is understood to be restructuring that set up, with elements of some of the agencies being included within Involve alongside JDA.

In April, JDA's deputy managing director Dan James left the agency, two months after the departure of managing director Mike Ashton. Meanwhile the agency's largest account, the Car Shop also moved its £3.5m creative account to McCann Erickson Birmingham in July.

At the time of writing, it is not know if any jobs have been shed by the group as a direct result of its restructure.
