WWF has released a new short film, 'Astonish Me', starring Bill Nighy and Gemma Arterton to showcase some of the new species that have recently been found around the globe.

Created by acclaimed writer Stephen Poliakoff and director Charles Sturridge 'Astonish Me' showcases some of the incredible new species recently discovered around the world.

The 5 minute film which is now being shown in ODEON cinemas across the UK takes viewers on a journey showcasing some of the world's lesser known or recently discovered species, from massive insects to colossal squid, a fish with a transparent head and birds and frogs of every colour.

A spokesperson for WWF said: "Astonish Me is a truly unique project which we hope will inspire a whole new generations of conservationists."
