Bauer development director Clasper becomes new MD of Northern Flags

Iain Clasper, development director for Bauer Radio has been appointed as the new managing director of printed marketing fabrics company Northern Flags.

The marketing solutions company, based in Leeds, is part owned by Faber Vlaggen, and has production facilities across Europe and the Far East.

Retiring managing director Sandy Goodall, commented: “I am pleased to announce that we have appointed Iain Clasper as our new MD ahead of my retirement in the autumn. Iain joins the company at an exciting time of growth, so far this year we have seen growth of more than 50% and by bringing someone with Iain’s Commercial and Marketing experience into the group I look forward to watching further growth in my new role as a as a non-executive director.”

Iain Clasper, added: “Northern Flags was an opportunity that was just too good to refuse, it’s a great team and they are uniquely positioned to grow in the future with the flexibility of their production facilities both in screen printing and digitally.”

Clasper has also held roles as managing director of Hallam FM in Sheffield and Juice FM in Liverpool, as well as commercial director at Emap Radio, national sales director for Metro Radio Group and sales director at Viking FM,Hull and Red Dragon Radio, Cardiff.
