Lord Coe to guest edit Sport magazine
Lord Coe is to guest edit this Friday’s Sport magazine, which marks the countdown to the London 2012 Olympics.
The themed issue includes adverts for several official partners to the 2012 Games, and looks back at the six years since London won the bid. It also features interviews with Olympic legends Sir Steve Redgrave and Michael Phelps.
Lord Coe uses the editor’s page to discuss ticketing, as well as revealing his top 10 Olympians of all time and delivering a progress report on the venues for London 2012.
Simon Caney, editor in chief of Sport (pictured with Coe), said: “This is a real coup for us. This is the only publication Lord Coe is guest editing, and it demonstrates the close relationship we have formed with LOCOG in the past two years – one that will continue all the way to the Games.
