Virgin Media confirms deal with Spotify

Virgin Media has today confirmed that it is partnering with music streaming company Spotify.

The partnership will allow Virgin Media subscribers to access the music library of over 13 million tracks using their internet, mobile phones and internet-enabled TVs.

Andreas Liffgarden, director of business development at Spotify, said: “By teaming up with Virgin Media we're giving millions more people across the UK the chance to enjoy all the world's music at their fingertips, however they choose to listen to it - be that on their computer, mobile, and for the first time through their TV.”

Virgin Media have said that the service will be available in ‘the coming months’.
