Facebook announcement today could be video chatting
There is speculation that the ‘something awesome’ to be launched by Facebook today could be a Skype-style video chat feature.
The announcement on what the new feature is will be made between 6-7pm GMT on Facebook, with over 70,000 users worldwide signed up to see what is going to happen on the social media site.
A Skype-style video chat (either using Skype or an in-house system) or an iPad app are the top suggestions as to what the ‘something awesome’ Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg hinted at to journalists last week.
