MusicMagpie appoints Bottle for PR

MusicMagpie, the 'cash for CDs, DVDs and games' website, has appointed Bottle to handle its PR after a competitive pitch.

Bottle's brief is to raise awareness of the website and promote its premise of giving customers cash for their unwanted entertainment products.

As well as trying to boost musicMagpie's brand awareness through the national media, the Oxford-based PR agency will also promote the launch of the musicMagpie iPhone, Android and Blackberry apps.

"We are looking forward to delivering some fantastic campaigns combining both traditional and social communications, and turning musicMagpie into a household name," said Bottle director Will Cairns, who will be overseeing the account.
