Tracy Emin one of 12 artists to design London 2012 posters
12 Artists from around the world, including Tracy Emin, are to design posters for the London 2012 Olympics.
The posters will be designed by Emin, as well as Fiona Banner, Michael Craig-Martin, Martin Creed, Anthea Hamilton, Howard Hodgkin, Gary Hume, Sarah Morris, Chris Ofili, Bridget Riley, Bob and Roberta Smith and Rachel Whiteread and will be shown in a free exhibition at Tate Britain as part of the London 2012 festival.
Prints of the posters will also go on sale in the Autumn.
Meanwhile, a partnership between the London Games and Edinburgh’s Hogmanay has also been announced, which see it as one of a number of Countdown events leading up to the beginning of the London 2012 Festival.
