Glasgow-based agency 55degrees has been put into liquidation after 11 years in business.

The firm specialised in content creation, video and online design and has worked for the likes of Red Bull, BBC, Glasgow Life, Museum of Liverpool, NESTA and DWT.

A final blog posting on 10 June by the team, titled So Long and Thanks For All The Fish, read: "It is with great sadness that we to announce that 55degrees is no more. And today will see the closing of the doors after 11 years and 55degrees will be going into liquidation.

"Started as six of us crammed into one room, edit suite and music studio at one end of the room and office at the other, it was a layout for headaches. 11 years that took us from the Droog Design Exhibition in the Lighthouse, filming raves and base jumping off the Forth Road Bridge to Riverside. From running shows from multiple VHS tapes to building huge websites and more. Its been a roller-coster of a ride, but this part is now over. We look forward to meeting you all in our next ventures."

A notice on the company's homepage confirms that 55degrees is now in liquidation, pointing all enquiries to RSM Tenon.
