Dame Hodgson to leave BBC Trust for non-exec role at Ofcom
Dame Patricia Hodgson is to leave the BBC Trust to join media watchdog Ofcom alongside the chief executive of the British Library, Lynne Brindley.
Hodgson has been named as a non-executive director for Ofcom, alongside Brindley, Library, and will join the board for a three-and-a-half year period from the start of July. Brindley will begin her three-year-role from September.
Ofcom chairman, Colette Bowe, said: "I am very pleased to be welcoming Patricia and Lynne to the Ofcom Board. They bring a wealth of experience and expertise which will greatly benefit Ofcom and I very much look forward to working with them over the next few years."
According to The Guardian, non-executive directors of Ofcom receive £42,519 a year for up to two days a week.
