Aston Brewery premium cider Press 81 aims to standout

A brand identity for Aston Manor Brewery’s new premium cider Press 81 has been created by Touchpoint, with the adverts using special ultra violet ink to achieve stand out in bars and nightclubs.

The Manchester design and branding consultancy has created the brand identity for the cider which is set to launch next month with a recyclable aluminium bottle what includes cold activation technology.

Howard Wright, creative director at Touchpoint explained: “The design creates a distinctive visual identity for Press 81 that captures the essence of the ciders English heritage with a modern twist. Press 81 will make a real statement in an increasingly growing category."

He continued, "Aston Manor are a forward thinking company and have fully embraced the whole branding process as part of the product development. It is great to work with companies looking to innovate and explore and I know Press 81 will be a great success.”

Ultra violet ink is being used on its bottle with the aim of enhancing stand out and consumer recognition.
