Tank PR wins Notts Food & Drink Festival brief

Tank PR has been appointed to handle public relations for this summer's Nottingham Food & Drink Festival.

The Nottingham agency was given the brief by We Are Nottingham following a three-way pitch against other local agencies.

Tank's task is to orchestrate "creative PR campaigns" and generate "excellent media coverage" for the festival, which takes place over 12 days in June and July and celebrates the city's culinary delights.

Sylvia Manser, chief executive of We Are Nottingham, said: "The team demonstrated good experience of the sector and strong commercial understanding as to what we would like media coverage to achieve."
