Ontrac Agency in Nailsea has been chosen to manage the UK's first Environmental Trade Show in Bristol this October.

The first show of its kind in the UK, it aims to help the UK remain a leading provider of goods and services worldwide.

"We will be responsible for the overall event management and logistics, exhibition design and build," said account director Lucy Hagen.

"We are really pleased to have been selected to manage this prestigious event, especially as Ontrac has a keen interest in the environmental sector through previous work with clients such as the Centre of Alternative Technology, the Welsh Assembly Government Sustainable Technologies, Dulas, Siemens Powys Regeneration".

ETS UK will provide a major platform for UK companies and organisations to showcase their expertise, knowledge and innovation.

"Low Carbon South West and I fully endorse this trade show with its conference, jobs fair and exhibition and I am sure it will be a leading event annually for the calendar," said Alan Bailey, chairman, Low Carbon South West CIC.

Jonathon Porritt, Founder Director of Forum for the Future, stated that the South West is well-positioned to stand at the forefront of the emerging Low Carbon revolution, not only within the UK but worldwide, due to its well-established low-carbon sector.

"This trade show is exactly the kind of event we need to showcase the technologies and opportunities for this region, and Forum for the Future is delighted to support such a forward-thinking initiative," he said.
