The Gate Films signs up Parisian director Berg
Julius Berg, the Pro D'Or's winning Parisian director, has joined The Gate Films' roster.
Berg, who is also represented by Quad Productions in Paris, is the second new director to join The Gate this month following the arrival of The Mob's Richard Oliver.
The Frenchman has a commercial reel that includes Orange, Michelin and Audemars Piguet. His L'Epi d' ad won best TV commercial at the 2010 Pro d'Or's Festival.
Steve Byrne, managing director at The Gate Films, said: "To have achieved as much as Julius has at just 34 years old is testament to a genuine talent. We've always pushed hard to bring our clients the best young directors and Julius definitely fits into that mould with some exquisite cinematography and storytelling."
