Whistles set for identity refresh and in-store launch event

Fashion brand Whistles has appointed Chocolate PR with its publicity and event management as it readies its new Spring collection in April.

The store, based in the Victoria Quarter in Leeds, will host an in-store event that will also present the brand’s refreshed identity, and offer style advice through special guests, including editor-at-large for Grazia Magazine, Polly Vernon.

CEO of Whistles, Jane Shepherdson, former brand director of Topshop, said that she recognised the need to work regionally to communicate the company’s new brand message in order to reach a local audience.

“Leeds is renowned for its shopping culture and fashion savvy women so we felt the Whistles brand could really resonate, it’s definitely a growth market for us as there is so much untapped potential; we now want to focus our strategy and really bring to life the whole Whistles experience to the Leeds customer. We looked to work with a local agency that really knows the region and reflects our brand's style to create an event with real flair and we approached Chocolate who clearly know the market,” said Shepherdson.

The in-store event will take place on 14 April.
