Bristol-based digital agency, 3Sixty has announced that it has been appointed by Bahrain International Airport to advise on the technical specification for its new website.

The appointment with Bahrain Airport is their first in the sector outside of the UK.

“Initially we are advising on the technical specification of BIA's new website, to feed into a formal process later in the year,” said Mark Scourse, business development director, 3Sixty.

“We believe that consulting a specialist agency such as 3Sixty early on allows the client to clarify their strategic objectives before proceeding to the definition stage of the RFP/tender process. This will ensure that the eventual project is much more likely to reflect the commercial needs of the business.”

A source from the company has stated that so far the political situation in Bahrain has not effected the project.

The news comes the same week 3Sixty moved offices across the street from their old location at Queens Road, to larger premises at Clifton Heights.

“After spending the last 11 years in the same offices, they had become cramped and with seven new team members joining us last year,” said 3Sixty managing director Chris Thurling.

“As well as the extra space, we have a lot more natural light, more breakout spaces to work collaboratively and a putting green in the middle of the office, courtesy of the previous residents.”

3Sixty has previously worked with airports throughout the UK, including Birmingham, Leeds and Bristol international airports.
