Glasgow-based Tictoc has developed a microsite for Alzheimer’s Society and Alzheimer Scotland after being named as Tesco's chosen Charity of the Year for 2011.

Tesco staff and customers are encouraged to get involved and raise money for the two charities, with the total raised expected to reach more than £5m.

The new site aims to focus attention on the fundraising campaign to help fund research and support for dementia.

The campaigning microsite allows visitors to donate online and gives Tesco employees ideas about how to raise money to

show their support.

The Dementia Community Roadshow will visit Tesco carparks where volunteers from the two charities will provide helpful information and advice about dementia - and you can use the online form featured on the microsite to request the Dementia Community Roadshow to visit your local Tesco store.

The microsite will soon feature a “bus timetable” showing all of the Tesco stores that the bus will visit on the Roadshow, and can be viewed on a Google map - showing the branch, date, time and address.

Rob Green, digital fundraising manager said: "We're obviously absolutely thrilled to have been chosen as Tesco's Charity of the Year, and are hoping that this partnership will raise a lot of money for people with Dementia across the UK. The microsite helps us to communicate our message to Tesco staff and customers, and inspires them to fundraise on our behalf. Tictoc did

a great job of creating this important fundraising tool, showcasing our partnership with Tesco."
