Over 50s insurance provider RIAS has signed up to sponsor ITV3's early evening schedule.

The deal will see the company's idents bookend shows such as Downton Abbey and Midsomer Murders between 7 and 9pm each evening.

A 15-second ident will run at the start of each programme with further 10-second messages at the beginning and end of each commercial break. One last 5-second message will run at the end of each show.

This is the first major TV sponsorship for RIAS and follows "extensive development work" on its brand identity.

It has worked in partnership with Yorkshire ad agency The Black Hole to create its sponsorship idents.

Sarah Howe, marketing director of RIAS, said: "Our ITV3 sponsorship is a fantastic opportunity to further build our brand.

"This is the ideal platform for RIAS to reach its diverse, individual customer base and bring to life some of the many reasons why our customers have chosen RIAS as their insurance provider, protecting and safeguarding the things that matter to them.”
