Supermarket chain Morrisons is to return to celebrity-based advertising, with new ads set to be fronted by cricketer Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff.

Former celebrity endorsers of the brand have included Richard Hammond and Alan Hansen, but the brand dropped celebrities last year in favour of school children.

A spokesperson for the supermarket chain refused to disclose specific details about how Flintoff would feature in the ads, but said the school children will also continue to feature in some ads.

The new ads have been created by DKLW Lowe and are expected to air in the next few months.
